Deck Your Halls: Poinsettias for a Purpose sale

While we are sad to announce that the Lincoln Park Conservatory will not open for its much-loved annual winter show this year, we’re excited to offer a once-in-a-lifetime chance to bring the show home with you! All of the poinsettias raised by the Conservatory staff for the show need to find a new home for the holidays.

During our “Deck Your Halls: Poinsettias for a Purpose” online sale, the Conservancy will sell the nearly 700 gold, orange, and pink poinsettias grown by the Conservatory staff for the Winter Show. The sale is currently open and will run through Sunday, November 29th, or when all plants are sold.

Funds from the sale help the Conservancy run the docent and greeter programs at the Conservatory, as well as other educational programs. This money also helps buy plants, fund seasonal shows, feed the fish, and assist with a number of other smaller projects in the Conservatory, including making the 2021 Winter Show even better!

All sales are final with no refunds, returns, or exchanges. Plants must be picked up in-person (contactless) at the Lincoln Park Conservatory between December 3rd and December 6th, 2020. We cannot ship plants. If you cannot pick up your plants within the sale window, we will work with you to find an alternative date.

Poinsettia Descriptions

Autumn Leaves

As indicated by the name, the bracts resemble the color of leaves in the fall. The bracts have a blend of apricot, gold, and pink. The amount of pink coloration is very slight in the first transition bracts and becomes greater as the smaller bracts develop. The yellow color deepens with age as well. Plants available in three sizes.

Christmas Beauty Cinnamon

The bracts of Christmas Beauty Cinnamon feature a unique soft pink coloration that will add a touch of class to your home during the holiday season. The color will deepen with age. Plants available in three sizes.

Golden Glo

Viking Cinnamon
