2020 Fall Stewardship Update

2020 Fall Stewardship Update

masked work group
It was a tough year in the Park, as volunteers were not allowed until late June and many groups that regularly dedicate hundreds of hours in service were not able to gather. However, we still surpassed some previous years’ records in volunteer numbers: over 750 volunteer hours, over 3,200 plants installed, and millions of seeds sown across the Park’s natural areas. Very importantly, our dedicated North Pond Gardeners have not missed a beat, coming out at every opportunity to give back to the Park. We will continue to host workdays, when weather allows, over the winter and very much look forward to seeing everyone in the Park again when public health allows.
